A.R.G!!!
the archive of radical graphics,
London chapter

this is the early days of a site resource that allows artists and activists to access high quality downloads of art and graphics of a libertarian, anti-authoritarian social/ political nature. ARG!!! is physically housed at the 56a Infoshop, London www.56a.org.uk and this page is the beginning of our posting and web-based interaction between the cool graphics that we have in our huge book and zine archive and the rest of you radical graphics geeks.

For now, as we don't have the web space to host loads of heavy images and jpgs, I am simply linking to URLs and message boards that provide an insight into the kind of a project that I'd like to see develop. Maybe this will simply be a network of interlinked sites, maybe we will get one big mothership of a donated site and house them all there- we'll just have to see how it develops. But please get involved if you are interested in the kinds of art and activism (DIY/ grassroots/ interventionist) that we are showcasing here.

We will always strive to acknowledge the incredible artists and activists involved inside and, first off, hats off to Peter Kruper for the screaming individual that we've nicked for the home page. (thanks)

Below is a list of links that have come up from collective conversation on the Profane Existence message board's "Art and radical graphics" topic (http://profaneexistence.com/board/index.php?showtopic=3681&st=0) For now, visit the above & interact via the PE message board!

This page isn't maintained by 56a Infoshop so forgive us if the links are broken. I think the ARG project never really happened in London. (DEC 2007)
